They're a symbol of our cultural variety and national identity, and with their unparalleled beauty, are invaluable and, at all cost, irreplaceable,It is appalling that the majority of these historical treasures are in a rather remorseful state, mostly due to neglect and vandalism, but also due to terrorism, which has resulted in the destruction of many historical remains.Consequently, several of these ruins are now too fragile to withstand harsh weather, sunlight and other natural catastrophes.

Hence, their preservation poses a challenge that needs to be addressed urgently.
